Christ is ready to set us free from our sins, but He will not force His will upon us. If by persistent sinning and transgressions our will is wholly bent on evil, and if we do not desire to be set free, and if we will not accept His grace, what more can He do? He has already given His life for us. We have destroyed ourselves by our determined rejection of His love. "Behold, now is the accepted time, behold, now is the day of salvation. Today, if you will hear His voice, do not harden your hearts." Twelve years ago, I opened my heart to Jesus and invited Him in. My life has never been the same. I have discovered the peace that indeed passes all understanding. We do not know what tomorrow will bring. Accept Christ now....today, and know the joy of life everlasting and the peace that is beyond words.. |
