PHILADELPHIA

Police say a 14-year-old boy is a serial rapist. The boy, who is in custody, is already implicated in half a dozen attacks on teenage girls and women up to the age of 32. Police say they're using his DNA to see if it matches evidence from any other sexual assaults. Some of the attacks were close to his home in the Nicetown neighborhood of Philadelphia. Others were in Olney, Mount Airy and West Philadelphia. According to an article in the Philadelphia Daily News, police sources said his spree started during the summer and recently ended as victims kept telling cops their attacker was a young boy with acne.

GOLDEN, Colo.

A woman who authorities said had sex with high school boys during alcohol- and drug-fueled parties has been sentenced to 30 years in prison, officials said. The woman, 41, of Arvada, described herself to investigators as a "cool mom" who "was never popular with classmates in high school" and who was beginning to feel like one of the group. She pleaded guilty in July to two misdemeanor counts of sexual assault and nine felony counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

She also was sentenced for additional charges of third-degree assault, violation of a restraining order and harassment for unrelated cases involving her husband and children. Authorities said she held parties for the boys almost weekly between October 2003 and October 2004. They said she provided drugs and alcohol to eight boys and had sex with five of them.

BRIDGEPORT, Conn.

A woman, 30, was sentenced to six years in prison for having repeated sexual contact with her daughter's 8-year-old playmate, once sending him a love letter that said "I want you!" She had pleaded guilty to two counts of risk of injury to a minor, a reduced charge that the boy's family accepted to spare both children time on the witness stand. The woman was arrested on sexual assault charges after the boy's mother found the woman's letter to her son. According to police, she told the boy in the letter that she didn't "want anyone but you. Now tomorrow it's supposed to rain, you can come over we can (you know what). Love ya! I want you!" She admitted engaging in sexual acts with the boy but said it stopped short of sexual intercourse. But as we stand here today, we still don't know what damage this will have on the young boy's self-esteem, his interpersonal relationships. We don't know what damage the young girl suffered."

The woman's daughter, who witnessed some of the acts, is now in foster care. The boy's mother told the judge that the woman "has hurt a lot of innocent people, including her own daughter, who not only lost her mother but (also) her best friend, who was my son."

Besides the prison term, Imre was sentenced to 10 years' probation, when she must register as a sex offender.

Teacher Denies Slicing Wrist in Class

SYLVESTER , Ga.

A third-grade teacher accused of slashing her wrists in front of her class and molesting students has pleaded not guilty. The teacher, 24, was indicted last month on 24 charges of child molestation and reckless conduct. She cut her wrists with broken glass in front of her class at a Elementary School, according to the indictment. Authorities also say she performed oral sex on a 9-year-old boy in her classroom, let students peek down her blouse and talked to some of the children about sexual matters. Between August 2004 and May 2005, authorities claim she abused a total of seven students. She has resigned from the school. If convicted on all charges, she could receive maximum sentences ranging up to hundreds of years, prosecutors said.

The Catholic-school teacher accused of having sex with students is an alcoholic who may have plied teenage boys with liquor on a school trip, according to authorities. She was arrested last December for DWI, according to official documents At the time, her blood-alcohol level was .18 - more than twice the legal limit, the documents show. The revelations came as the teacher, 42, finished a one-day stint in jail after posting $20,000 bail Tuesday on charges she raped a 16-year-old boy during two alleged sexual trysts in May - one in a school football field's press box, the other at her home in the Albany suburb of Latham.

The boy was a student at Christian Brothers Academy in Colonie, N.Y., where she was a volunteer teacher, and where her own teenage son is a student. The letter also said administrators had been told of teachers' concerns "about the all-too-frequent closed-door visitations of a handful of boys to the teachers office, which has no windows." CBA fired the teacher in mid-June after she was allegedly caught with a 17-year-old student in a parked car. Since then, she has been accused of having sex with at least two other 17-year-old students and other indiscretions.

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y.

A woman pleaded guilty to second-degree rape for providing a hotel room and liquor so her 13-year-old daughter and a 14-year-old friend could have sex with two men they just met. The woman, whose name was withheld to protect her daughter's identity, allegedly told investigators it was time for her daughter to "have sex and get it over with." The age of consent in New York is 17.

The mother, who lives in Sayville, took the girls to White Plains for an overnight shopping trip in April. The girls ran into the men -- a male,19, and another male, 18, at a mall, and the men went to the hotel where the mother and girls had taken a room. The mother bought beer and hard lemonade for the teenagers and later admitted in court that she was with them in the hotel room when the sex occurred. The Judge said he would sentence the woman to six months in jail, if she convinces him during sentencing that she understands the seriousness of the crime. Rape charges against the men are pending.
