THE GATE
There it was
Right in front of me
It looked like any other gate
Rusty hinges, chipped paint and all
Many others have been through it I know
Did they hesitate for even a moment
Or did they just swing it wide and hurry in
Were thoughts of what they would see
and who they would see running through their mind
Anticipation and joy abound
I held my breath as I reached out
Ever so gently I touched it and gave it a push
One step after the other I did make
Through the gate I stepped
I turned to take everything in as it shut behind me
I didn´t want to miss a thing
His face was the first thing I saw
"Welcome Home" was the first thing I heard Him say
Through the gate I´d stepped
and into His everlasting arms I´ll be
Forever and ever
for all eternity

THE BOOK
I'd never seen one such as this
It was huge
I couldn't begin to even guess the number of pages it had
Light came forth as each page was turned
What a light it was
Radiant, brilliant and such colors to behold
I was being drawn closer and closer
Names were called forth
Pages were turned to see if the name was there
Cries of anguish and fear as no name was found for some
The realization of eternal separation from God was to be
I realized I was shaking the closer I got
Out loud
my name was called out loud
"Enter in my child," the voice said
My entire being filled with joy and praise erupted from my mouth
It was there
my name
it was there
Will yours?

The Lord in His Splendor
Look up unto the heavens was the cry,
I turned and did just that.
My mouth dropped open as I stood in awe.
A light as brilliant as any I'd ever seen shone before me,
So bright it hurt to look at for any long length of time.
The Lord in all of His splendor and majesty,
Was coming for His children; it was time.
The time was now.
I could barely contain myself for I was so full of joy.
His eyes were filled with compassion and love,
One look was all that it took.
This was what had been spoken of throughout the ages,
In churches and faraway places
To think that all over the world,
Saints were seeing and hearing the same thing ,
At the same time.
His arms were outstretched and waiting,
No words were spoken, none were needed.
To think we would be with Him,
Forever and ever, and on into eternity.

THIS GOD
He gives me Peace
He gives me Love
Yes and even More
He gives me Joy
He gives me Strength
Yes and even More
This mighty Being
This God of Ours
He makes me Happy
And comforts me when I´m Sad
He listens to my every Word
And even those I do not Say
He cares for Me
And I for Him
This mighty Being
This God of Ours
When we meet Him
What a day it will be
When we come face to face
With this God of Ours.

A PLACE CALLED HOME
I want to go home
To a place that is mine.
Where people are kind
Loving and good.
I want to go home
And you can come too.
Here´s what you must
Do to come home.
Jesus said knock and I will come in,
Jesus said I am The Way and The Truth.
I want to go home
Where the streets are of gold.
I want to go home
And for you to come too.
So let´s do what He said, let Jesus in
And we´ll all be together just as He planned.

REMEMBER
Lord, you´re mightier than any king
And we are Your servants.
Lord you created all things
And we are a part of that creation.
Help us to remember just how small we are
And how great You are
Help us to serve You with all of our
heart, mind and soul
But most of all Lord, help us to remember
Why we are here
To share our love for you with others.

LOOK UP TO ME
Look up to me says the Lord.
Turn yourself towards the heavens says the Lord.
Keep your eyes turned from evil says the Lord.
I will give you strength and keep you pure says the Lord.
When your burdens or life gets too heavy, look up to me says the Lord.
We will overcome says the Lord.
In good times and bad give thanks and look up to me says the Lord.
I gave my all for you, yes you, says the Lord.
Now is the time says the Lord.
Pray like you´ve never prayed before says the Lord.
The ending will be mine, not yours, says the Lord.
Look up to me.

NOW IS YOUR TIME
A long time ago since passed, God looked down and cried.
For you see, all of His people had gone astray.
God sent His Son in love for all to see and know.
He came as a Babe and grew into manhood,
when at last God sent a dove and said now is your time.
This man talked of God to all, young and old alike.
He helped all and was followed by hundreds.
For three years, he spoke of God´s love and
How we could experience this too.
Then the day came He had known would,
This was the day He was to die for us.
He did this in love.
God raised Him from the dead for us
So we would all know how much He really loved us,
And He took him home where a place
Is being prepared for all of us.
All those who have come to know and love this man
Shall one day go to be with Him also.
My friend, won´t you love him also and come too?

WILL YOU BE READY?
One day in the twinkling of an
Eye the Lord will come.
Will you be ready?
No one knows just when this
May happen.
I just hope you´re ready.
God´s people will rise up in a
Flash and the dead will be
No more.
Oh, friend I hope you can come too.
We will be with God forever, just
As He told us we would.
Will you be ready?

FROM THIS DAY FORWARD
Walking together two by two
Sharing this life together.
Telling each other our joys and sorrows
Knowing the other really cares.
We spoke the words together
And now we are one.
We will walk with Christ and
Share our lives with Him.
We will give Him our joys and
Cry to Him in times of sorrow.
Knowing that He cares for us
As I care for you and you for me.
