Parents Wisdom
Doting Mother and Loving Dad,
They teach us their wisdom,
They give all that they have.
They share of the knowledge,
That's been passed down for years.
We learn as we grow older,
Though sometimes through tears.
We listen with our hearts,
To hear what's left unsaid.
For we truly value their wisdom,
Through our family it shall be spread.
We pass down to ours,
The wisdom we've learned.
We teach all we know,
To all those concerned.

"Little One's Questions"
"Mommy, How far is Heaven?
Does Jesus ever leave?"
A little one full of questions
The answers I can't conceive.
"Will He be there for always?
Can he visit us here?"
Her questions are so concerning.
But yet they are sincere.
"When we go, will He see us?
Will we walk hand in hand?
Why can't He be here now?
I just don't understand."
Little ones, with big questions.
So much on little minds.
If only I knew the answers,
Some peace she might find.
But for now, I follow my heart,
So the answers just might come,
If I listen long enough.
Because her questions have just begun.

LEAD ME
"Show me your ways, O Lord;
teach me your paths"
Lead me beside still waters,
Let me not feel Your wrath.
Let me lead an honest life,
God, lead me away from sin.
Show me down the righteous path,
So I may be born again.
Let me not be tempted, Lord
By sins that may arise.
Lead me to the right road.
Your will I shall abide.

I Pledge My Love
I pledge my love, for all to hear.
In my heart, I'll hold you dear.
A love so strong, we shall endure.
For it's our love, that stands so pure.
I promise my heart, to you indeed.
I'll always be there, when you're in need.
I shall cherish our love for eternity.
Together forever. . . . .you and me.

For The Rest of Your Lives
An everlasting love,
I promise you true.
As I give of my heart,
Thus only for you.
I'll carry your name,
Forever with me.
A token of our love,
For all to see.
A ring I shall wear,
As a symbol of our love.
As a promise forever,
To God up above.
Together we unite,
Our hearts beat as one.
To share our life together,
Under God's shining sun.

Winter Time Is Coming
The leaves are falling around us,
The snow begins to fly.
Wintertime is coming,
As the seasons pass us by.
The trees are all barren,
No green is on the ground.
Wintertime is coming,
You can see it all around.
The brisk air blows right through us,
Chilling us to the core.
Wintertime is coming,
We know what lies in store.
The skies are turning gray,
Each day is shortly lived.
Wintertime is coming,
A special season the Lord gives.

Teach Your Children
The holidays are approaching,
Children's eyes are all aglow.
We teach them of God's love,
So they shall truly know.
The meaning of the season,
Is often seen as fun.
Some teach of Jesus' love for us,
Others speak it, as a pun.
So truly teach your children,
Of the birth of Christ, our Lord.
Then they can share their knowledge,
And carry on his Holy Word.

My Loving Mom
Today we are miles apart,
But close at heart you stay.
I wanted to send you a greeting,
For so special it is today.
Your birthday comes but once a year,
It is special just the same.
It's not just another day you see,
For it's the day you were given your name.
If not for you, I would not be here now,
So for me it's a special event.
I thank the Lord every day,
For it was you that He sent.
Dedicated to my Mother

Seeking His Help
Praying by evening's candlelight glow,
Seeking His wisdom we all need to know.
Asking for healing, forgiveness and such,
You can tell He's with you, you can feel his touch.
Searching for others,
Their faith leads them on.
Believing the miracles,
He once has preformed.
Asking for His help,
Is an every day occurrence.
I ask once or twice,
Just for reassurance.
He hears all that is said,
And He answers at will.
For if it is to be,
He'll be standing there still.

All Is Right
Spending time together....
The Lord and I today.
Just basking in the sunlight,
Enjoying it, while I pray.
I listen to his faithful words,
I heed all that is said.
And I know all is right with us,
For that is where his words have led.

Season of Thanks-Giving
The season of giving is upon us,
A time to heal all those in need.
To share of all the wealth we have,
Whether love or money it be.
A time for families to gather,
To enjoy a wonderful feast.
To thank God for his blessings,
That´s what we can do in the least.
Sharing a special time together,
Saying grace among us through.
Speaking all our hearts desires,
For the blessing of the food.
To feed those who are hungry,
To heal all that are ill.
It is a time of thanks giving,
With inspiration, he shall heal.

Angels Around Us
There are angels all around us,
they appear as normal friends.
They are there when they are needed,
like a prayer that never ends.
Just like the Lord they bless us,
with their presence in many ways.
Some are just a friendly glance,
while others look away.
It is in the comfort of their smile,
and the gentleness of their touch.
You know that you are truly blessed,
for their friendship means so much.
So if by chance you know of one,
who brightens up your day,
just send a little kindness,
to be with them along their way.

My Lord, My Companion
I hear his voice ring in my ears,
A song sings in my soul.
It lifts me up, when I am alone,
what a joyful sight to behold.
I put my trust in the Lord above,
He leads me through the night.
For when I cannot see anymore,
His eyes shall be my sight.
He picks me up, when I am down,
He shows me to the path.
He leads me on my merry way,
with no looking back.
For when I say I fear no more,
It never shall ever be.
For when the Lord is by my side,
He watches over me.

His Seeds
"The Lord is my shepherd I shall not want",
He cares for all my needs.
And when I say I want no more,
He carefully sows his seeds.
He makes me stronger with his love,
I shall never feel alone.
I grow in spirit and in mind,
from the wondrous seeds he has sown.

My Life To Him I Give
He leads me through the troubled times,
He shows me to the light.
Whenever I have a doubt or two,
I know that He is always right.
I follow in his awesome tracks,
From day to day I live.
Just waiting for his wondrous return,
My life to Him I give.

Your Trust
Deep in the forest I walk so far
No worries to ponder, its stillness afar
Darkness surrounds me, no way to see
I shall fear no evil, for it shall fear me.
I am the Lord's temple, I ward off all bad
For when I am around no one feels sad.
I gave Him my heart to do what is needed,
And it is His love that forever is heeded.
Let no man worry, for fear is not found
When you believe in God, His love will abound.
So fear ye not youngsters and elders alike,
Put your trust in the Lord with all of your might.

His Creation
The many wonderous creations of God,
Shall forever be in our view.
The sights, the sounds of beauty
That forever shall ring true.
The beauty at thy Master's hand,
The serene and peaceful sounds.
Their beauty forever is outspoken,
For the wonderous views abound.
To view his wonderous creations,
Is a blessing in itself.
To be able to see the wonders,
His creations of great wealth.

To One
To one whose name, we hold so dear.
And truly treasure, throughout the year.
To one whose friendship, means so much.
And delivers comfort, with just a touch
To one in which, we share our dreams.
And knows what's needed, it always seems.
I wish you joy, Love and such.
Because you mean so very much.
