Your Love

As long as God gives me breath
This I shall never know
How He could have blessed me with your love
So many years ago

Has it been so many years
I first saw my love so fair?
Dressed in her red polka dots
The glow of her radiant blond hair

Has it been so many years
Our eyes first met in love
That God did grant us
His blessings from above

We've been through laughter
We've been through sorrow
And Darling, you always gave me
All my hopes for tomorrow

Now in the twilight of our years
As our lives begin to slow
Tis so easy to remember
The joys and hopes of long ago

And when in death we should part
And together we are no more
Yet, wait...not so my love
I will meet you at Heavens door

And together hand in hand
We'll walk the Streets of Gold
Talking of eternity to come
And the happiness of long ago

And so my dearly beloved
Once more I say to you
Thank you for the happy years
And your love, always and forever true
