Jesus answered them, I have told you so, yet you do not believe Me, you do not trust me and rely on Me. The very works that I do by the power of My Father and in My Father's name bear witness concerning Me, they are My credentials and evidence in support of Me. But you do not believe and trust and rely on Me because you do not belong to My fold, you are no sheep of Mine. (John 10: 25-26)

Jesus the Good Shepherd

Jesus during His time on earth, used illustrations called parables to make a point, to teach concepts, and to bring out truths and understanding to the disciples and those who would hear His words. His cousin John who was called John the Baptist, declared Jesus to be the spotless Lamb of God that would take away the sin of the world. Jesus was very familiar with lambs and sheep and during His ministry; He used lambs and sheep to illustrate the similarities of people and sheep. Jesus proclaimed Himself to be the Good Shepherd, who was willing to lay down His life for his sheep. Spotless lambs were sacrificed as a sin offering in that time. But Jesus as well as John knew that one day Jesus would be the spotless Lamb of God that would be sacrificed on the cross of Calvary.

Jesus knew that sheep lacked good sense, and that they were prone to wandering and becoming hopelessly lost, and even endangering themselves. Jesus recognized that sheep had no real beauty, and that they often emitted a foul smell. He knew that they were unfaithful creatures when it came to their nursing lambs. The mothers had a tendency of wandering away from the flock and leaving the lambs in harm's way. Sheep make a terrible noise when they are startled, or encounter the slightest discomfort or fear. If the kind shepherd is not near, the sheep cannot be trusted to stay with their flock. Often the sheep becomes hopelessly lost and fall prey to wolves, lions, and other beasts. But instead of trying to find the way back to the fold, the ignorant sheep stands and bleats incessantly, until the shepherd finds the lost sheep and takes it back to the safety of the fold. We understand the ways and characteristics of the sheep, and it is not surprising that we as Christians have a common bond with the sheep. Jesus is without question, The Good Shepherd, and He watches over 'His Sheep'.

The similarities of sheep and people are astonishing. How often we wander away from His fold and become hopelessly lost and entangled in the world. When this happens, we are no longer a Light shining in this dark world. Like the mother sheep, we become unfaithful and walk in harm's way and fall prey to Satan's lies. Sheep have no beauty and neither do we, unless we accept the righteousness that He so generously affords "His sheep."

How often we wander away ~ how unfaithful, and how wretched the stench of our sins. How quickly we cower, when He turns up the heat to test us, and what whimpering we do if someone offends us. How often we think with our carnal minds and how ignorant we can be, when we use man's reasoning ~ instead of having the spiritual mind of Christ that we should strive for as Christians.

But above all, we must remember the Love that sent Our Shepherd to the Cross of Calvary. Oh what wonderful, watchful care He bestows on us. What an awesome and patient Shepherd He is even when His sometimes wandering, unfaithful, and rebellious children step out of line. ~ Tara Hart

Beware of False Prophets

Beware of false prophets, who come to you dressed as sheep, but inside they are devouring wolves. You will fully recognize them by their fruits. Do people pick grapes from thorns, or figs from thistles? Even so, every healthy and sound tree bears good fruit worthy of admiration, but the sickly, decaying and worthless tree bears bad worthless fruit. A good healthy tree cannot bear bad worthless fruit, nor can a bad diseased tree bear excellent fruit worthy of admiration. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and cast into the fire. Therefore, you will fully know them by their fruits. (Matt: 7:15-20)

False prophets ~ in sheep's clothing, who inwardly are ravening wolves. This seems to suggest, a prowling wolf with the fleece taken from a sheep, and drawn over its body as it roams about the outer edges of the flock. This imposter is waiting for an opportune time, to crouch and slaughter the unsuspecting sheep or lamb.

In like manner, these false prophets and false Christ's do not show their true colors at first. In fact, they hide their real identity and intentions in an effort to draw away those weak in the faith, and even disciples who may have fallen by the wayside. The only true way to decipher the Truth is through the Word of God.

You shall know them by their FRUITS! This is the testing ground for any system of doctrines, and for those who propagate it. That which is of God, meaning those who are truly sold out for Jesus, will result in godly FRUIT for His Glory and Honor. Every good tree (A man or woman who is born of God) brings forth manifold blessings to lie at the Master's feet. In contrast, those who are still unregenerate are producing bad fruit and the stench of it, rises to God's throne-room. Our behavior most certainly betrays or indicates our true character. The chosen of God, the 'true believers' have faith, joy and peace. Those, whose fruit is decayed, stand in the balance. The words that come from our lips fully indicate the state of that person's heart.

There are many false prophets in this world today, and their lives are full of corrupted fruit. Their hearts are full of rebellion, and they have walked in the ways of evil and pushed God aside. Evil men grovel in that which is sinful and their corrupted minds are bent on lust, worldliness and iniquity. Unless you repent and change your attitude toward the Word of God, and produce good fruit, then your eternal destiny is the fires of Hell.

Good men delight in purity and righteousness. When grace and mercy operates in the soul, the good and abundant Fruit of the Spirit will be manifest ~ in the life of the Believer.

And the word of Jehovah came to me saying, Son of man, prophesy (preach) against the shepherds of Israel; prophesy and say to them, even to the (spiritual) shepherds, Thus says Adonay Jehovah: Woe to the (spiritual) shepherds of Israel who feed themselves! Should not the shepherds feed the sheep? You eat the fat, you clothe yourselves with the wool, you kill the fatlings, but you do not feed the sheep. The diseased and weak you have not strengthen, the sick you have not healed, the hurt and crippled you have not bandaged, those gone astray you have not brought back, the lost you have not sought to find, but with force and hardhearted harshness you have ruled them. ONLY TWO ROADS

THE WIDE ROAD ~ WRONG CHOICE

"Wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leads to destruction." These two roads are the only passageways into eternity. The wide road is full of excitement, lust, self-will, selfishness, rebellion and disobedience to God's Word. Many travel this road every day, never amending their ways. The problem is not ignorance, because almost everyone on this planet has heard of GOD at one time or another. The truth is that these people have blocked God's voice and his love, out of their existence. They serve many gods and deny the True GOD. Their lives are adrift in the masses of humanity, and never once do they consider how dangerous the road they trod. They refuse to acknowledge their sinful condition and the consequences of ignoring the gift given on Calvary's Hill.

For many travelers, their destinations have been completed. With their last breath they stepped out of this world and into eternity. First Destination: Temporary housing in Hell. Hundreds of years later, after all is said and done, the Wide Road Travelers will have Permanent housing: They will be thrown alive into the Lake of Fire, to burn forever throughout all of Eternity.

Beloved, Do not put faith in every spirit, but prove and test the spirits to discover whether they proceed from God for many false prophets have gone forth into the world. By this you may know and perceive and recognize the Spirit of God, every spirit, which acknowledges and confesses the fact that Jesus Christ (the Messiah) actually has become man and has come in the flesh is of God (has God for its source). And every spirit which does not acknowledge and confess that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh, (but would annul, destroy, sever, disunite Him) is not of God, does not proceed from Him. This non~confession is the spirit of the antichrist, of which you heard that it was coming, and now it is already in the world.

Strait is the Gate ~ Narrow is the Way

The narrow gate is opposite of the wide road of destruction. This pathway is exclusively for those who are walking in the path that leads to eternal life. The path suggests that the gate is the entrance by Faith in Christ into the way of the Christian life. The gate is so narrow that few there be that find it. Christ Jesus Himself is both the gate and the way, and God enables men to find that gate. The contrast of the wide road and the narrow path seems to assert that one is the way of Grace and the other the way of works. Many who travel the wide road of life are seeking to arrive in heaven by means of their own accomplishments and works, but only a few have received the grace of God which is our guarantees them heaven. Jesus Himself during His ministry stated: Many are called, but few are chosen.

The warnings in the Word of God about false prophets fit quite appropriately with the concept of the 2 separate ways. So many in today's world, are being misled and misguided by men and women in authority, who claim to be prophets, when in reality these appear in sheep's clothing but inwardly they are ravening wolves.
This description portrays the state of those preachers (?) who distort the Truth of the Gospel, and they deny the virgin birth, Jesus' healing ministry, His crucifixion and resurrection, His Second coming, the Millennial Reign and the New Heavens and New Earth. They also do not believe the Inspiration and Inerrancy of God's Word. For the most part, these are those who walk in the way of the flesh, while proclaiming salvation. They stand in the error of their own making. They deceive and distort the real Word of God, and these so called preachers cause many to follow their corrupted ways.

A true test of a real prophet is the conformity of his doctrine to that of the Scriptures. Their fruits are demonstrated by their actions and love of others. A prophet warns those who falsely judge others, just as Jesus reminds us to beware and know such people. We as followers of Christ must be discerning enough not to be taken in by their cleverness.

Many will say to Me on that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name and driven out demons in Your name and done many mighty works in Your name? And then I will say to them publicly, I Never Knew You; depart from Me, you who act wickedly, disregarding My commands. So everyone who hears these words of Mine and acts upon them, obeying them will be like a sensible, prudent, practical, wise man who built his house upon the rock.

The Darkness of Falsehood

Anyone who denies the Deity of Jehovah GOD is someone who lives and thrives in this sin-sick world. They are of this world, and in this world and begotten by Satan. These are the ones who in this earth are popular and loved by the unregenerate. These are the ones who boldly proclaim their unholy union with the world. They will one day find themselves wanting. These people walk in darkness and scoff at things they have no understanding of, as they pervert the Gospel of Jesus Christ. They follow in the ways of evil and wallow in the depths of abomination, as they stir the seething pot of falsehood. From the lips of false prophets comes apostasy and denial of Christ's eternal Deity. In the dark night they whisper, "I do not accept anything from God; I depend entirely upon my own sound judgment, and I have no ties to the man some call Jesus."

As in past history, as well as today's culture, Satan has secretly introduced evil workers into the churches, and in so doing the babes in Christ and the unwatchful often are deceived and led away from the Truth. The truth of God, if not submitted to, has a hardening effect upon the one who is familiar with it. We need to know that, to trifle with the things that God has revealed is an affront to Himself, and certainly there are dire consequences. These men have a mental acquaintance with the truth but not a spiritual acquaintance with it. They do not walk in the ways and in accordance with that which they profess to hold. They have slipped in through another door, to deceive and corrupt all that is good. These unholy men are not unknown to God, and they will be judged.

False prophets inwardly deny the Lord Jesus, and with their lips they are found professing to know Him, but they deny Him by their unfruitful works of darkness. These so called Pastors hold seats of honor in the churches. With charisma and lying tongues they feed themselves without fear, as they profess allegiance to Christ. However, while in secret they ignore His Word and even treat with contempt and superiority the inspired writings prompted by the Holy Spirit.

But the Holy Spirit distinctly and expressly declares that in latter times some will turn away from the faith, giving attention to deluding and seducing spirits and doctrines that demons teach. Through the hypocrisy and pretensions of liars whose consciences are seared (cauterized). (1 Timothy 4: 1-2)

Rev. Sun Myung Moon Crowned Messiah in D.C.

On March 2004, in the Dirksen Senate office building in Washington, D.C., the man who calls himself the Reverend Sun Myung Moon proclaimed that he had saved the souls of Adolf Hitler and Josef Stalin. Moon went on to say that through his teachings, the genocidal dictators had declared him "humanity's savior, messiah, returning Lord and True Parent." After making this declaration, Moon was draped in flowing red and gold fur-lined robes and presented a tall golden crown by Democratic Representative Danny Davis of Illinois. (40) Moon went on to say, "People will come to the true peace world kingdom, fulfilling God's will and creating heaven on Earth…..dictators such as Hitler and Stalin have found strength in my teachings, mended their ways and have been reborn as new persons." 81 U.S Congressman were in attendance at the coronation ceremony. Rev. Moon (born Young Myung Moon - meaning 'shining dragon') changed his name to Sun Myung Moon. He claimed that God had commissioned him to complete Jesus' unfinished work. "The time suddenly came to me when heaven opened up, and I was privileged to communicate with Jesus Christ and the living God directly. Since then I have received many astonishing revelations." (quoted from "In the Shadow of the Moons", by Nausook Hahn).

NOTE: This man is a False Prophet of the False Prophets! Unless he repents, he will burn in the fires of Hell forever and ever. Have no kind of association with this evil man and his cohorts!

But also in those days there arose false prophets among the people, just as there will be false teachers among yourselves, who will subtly and stealthily introduce heretical doctrines (destructive heresies), even denying and disowning the Master Who bought them, bringing upon themselves swift destruction. And many will follow their immoral ways and lascivious doings; because of them the true Way will be maligned and defamed. And in their covetousness, (lust, greed) they will exploit you with false (cunning) arguments. From of old the sentence of condemnation for them has not been idle; their destruction and eternal misery has not been asleep. For God did not even spare angels that sinned, but cast them into hell, delivering them to be kept there in pits of gloom til the judgment and their doom. ( 2Peter 2:1-4)

Not everyone who professes Christ is genuinely saved. Even the outward verbal acknowledgment of His Lordship is in itself not enough to save the unbeliever apart from true Repentance and Faith. A genuinely saved person is one that does the will of the Father in heaven (in the Greek present tense meaning is he is continually living in obedience to the will of God as the normal course of his life). He may fail at times, but his general course of consistency is to obey the will of the Father.

It is tragic to note that many will proclaim in that day, Lord, Lord and yet will be lost. On what do they base their profession? Their many great works cause them to think that they have attained salvation, but this is a misconception. Works without faith is ineffective, inactive and worthless. But, if there is faith operating aside good works, then it is completed and faith and works have reached it's supreme expression. So you see that a man is pronounced righteous before God through what he does and not alone through faith and through works of obedience as well as by what he personally and spiritualy discerns what he believes!

Those who are continually living in sin, as the normal course of their lives, have no assurance of salvation whatsoever. Faith is the root of salvation and works are it's fruit. The works of man do not produce his own salvation. In fact, to the contrary, man's human efforts alone are futile in gaining salvation. While salvation is by faith, it is by faith which shows itself in a changed life. There is a repentant faith, a life-changing faith, and a faith that works!

For it is written, As I live, says the Lord, every knee shall bow to Me, and every tongue shall confess to God. So then, every one of us shall give an account of himself unto God. (Romans 14:11-12).
