The Chilling Word Called MURDER
Too long, we have lived inside the small perimeter of self and neglected to reach out to become part of the whole picture. Often we have closed our eyes and ears and shut our mouths when words were expedient. Day after day, we neglected to stand for what we believed in; what we once held dear to our hearts. We were too busy with our own daily lives to take time to minister hope and love to a dying world. So Time slipped by and the enemy prevailed. Now the sad, naked truth of Satan's evil works are clear for all to see.
We are a nation filled with sin, mockers, greed, lust, MURDER and envy. A people bent on corruption and steeped in moral decay. We should be ashamed at our own ignorance, and our lack of courage to stand up for what was right, honest, and necessary. MURDER envelops our nation like a cloak of darkness that permeates our daily life. We, who should have been the Light in the darkness, have failed so many times and grown cold and indifferent to the Spirit's pleas for righteousness. On a daily basis we hear, see and read about MURDERS, and it seems that we become more complacent by the hour.
Hollywood has been one of Satan's tools to program the public with the mindset that sin is not sin, that immorality is acceptable, and hatred and violence are just part of the present generation. His campaign to desensitize us, through Hollywood and the media, has been one of his greatest accomplishments. And Satan sits back and laughs at our ignorance.
Our minds are like a womb, what is put into our minds through spoken words and by visual means is what grows there. It has been said, that children are what they learn, see and hear. Far too many of today's children have been repeatedly exposed to violence, sex, MURDER and hatred. Most of this has been filtered through the means of tv, video games, movies, the media, and Satanic rock music, not to mention the demonic influence of the Harry Potter books and movies. So, it isn't surprising that we now have a generation of teens and even young children, who have been bred to be MURDERERS. Is it any wonder that so many parents have absolutely no control over their children? We have children killing children and teens killing parents and grandparents without remorse. Far too many children are left outside the gates of love and nurturing, and they are sacrificed in the name of material things ~ that have absolutely no real worth. -- Tara Hart

CHARLESTON, S.C.
A 15-year-old boy, who claimed the antidepressant Zoloft drove him to kill his grandparents and burn their house down, was found guilty of murder and sentenced to 30 years in prison. He was 12, in 2001, when he killed his grandparents, with a pump-action shotgun as they slept in their rural home. He torched their house and drove off in their car. He was charged as an adult. HUMBOLDT, Kan.
Kansas Boy, 10, Charged With Killing Father
When the lady answered the light knock on her front door, she was greeted by a boy wearing only burgundy underwear and holding a shotgun.
"There stood this poor, scared, half-naked little boy saying 'Help me, help me. Hide me. They're after me, they're going to get me and spank me hard.'" The child said, 'I done something really bad,'" The lady asked him, what did you do? He said, I shot my dad.'"
The boy, was charged as a juvenile and could be held until age 23. The father was sitting on the living-room couch, when he was shot in the back of the head with a 20-gauge pump shotgun. The father, according to neighbors, said, He would do anything in the world for you. He was an extremely hard worker and took care of his family. (2005)

ST. Louis, Missouri
A 12-year-old girl has been charged with murder under juvenile law for allegedly killing her 9-year-old sister, apparently in a dispute over a hamburger. (2005)
New York City, NEW YORK
A 9-year-old girl fatally stabbed an 11-year-old girl in the chest with a steak knife during a fight over a ball, authorities said.
Police spokesman said he was "unaware of anyone younger implicated in such an act in New York City." The 11-year-old victim, was pronounced dead at a hospital. Family members said the fifth-grader was a straight-A student who loved books, dancing and playing double Dutch jump rope.
Relatives said the girls' mothers were best friends, and the 11 year-old had been invited to the 9-year-old's home in the East New York section of Brooklyn for a Memorial Day barbecue. The girls had been playing together, but the 9-year-old's mother had stepped out to borrow something from a neighbor. By the time the mother returned, the 9-year-old had plunged the knife into the victim's chest. The girl stumbled into the hallway and collapsed. The 9-year-old, a fourth-grader, was charged with manslaughter. A spokesman said the case would go to family court because the girl is younger than 14. (2005)

TAMPA, Fla.
In an attack that's rattled even veteran detectives, police in Florida say a seven-year-old boy has confessed to beating his baby sister to death.
Investigators say the boy was jealous of the attention the infant was getting and upset by her crying. They say the boy beat the baby with his fists, feet and a two-by-four. The attack occurred in Tampa, while the boy was visiting his father.
Police say the father and his girlfriend were outside with neighbors when the boy came out and told them the baby was "bleeding." They said the seven-month-old had a bloody nose, and wasn't breathing. The parents rushed the baby to a hospital, where she was pronounced dead. (2005)

A County judge will decide if a teenager accused of killing a mother and her 6-year-old son should be tried as an adult. The teenager was 17, at the time of the murders. In chilling detail, the teenager confessed to shooting the woman in the head. Then he picked up the suede pillow, held it to the back of the boy's head and shot him through the pillow. The teen then went home, ate lunch and spent the night at his girlfriend's house. (2005)

ROCHESTER HILLS, Mich
A 15-year-old confronted by his mother over Internet pornography and weaponry apparently preceded an attack in which he stabbed her more than 100 times. The teen was charged as an adult with open murder in Oakland County District Court.
Police began searching for the teen shortly after his grandmother found the body of her daughter in the foyer of her home. The mother was stabbed 111 times. "It was just about everywhere. She was stabbed in the back, chest, head, heart, face and eyes, and she also had blunt force trauma to her head." The woman, 50, was a psychologist. Authorities said the woman had recently discovered that her son was using the Internet to look at pornography, and learn how to make weapons. She had found a gun that her son made out of PVC pipe filled with gunpowder and marbles, and she had taken it away and give it to the boy's father, her ex-husband. (2005)
BELLEFONTAINE, Ohio
An 18-year-old who was about to graduate from high school is believed to have fatally shot his grandparents, mother and two family friends before killing himself. The Sheriff said he was unsure if authorities would ever find out why the teen committed the shootings. The rampage at neighboring farmhouses came just hours after a party to celebrate the pending graduation. Scott and Karus were to have graduated Sunday afternoon.
The victims were his grandparents; grandfather, 67, the grandmother, 67, who were found dead in their farmhouse. His mother, 37, and two friends, both girls, 19, and 14. They were found dead in the other home along with the wounded survivor, the boy's 15-year-old sister, who was in critical condition, and the body of Scott, himself. The victims were shot with a .22-caliber rifle. (2005)

A 19 year old male in the Florida Panhandle, murdered his grandmother and may have abducted his 12-year-old uncle and a 17 teenage girl. Both children were abducted by 19-year-old, who may have been armed. (2005)

BEMIDJI, Minn.
High School Shooting Spree Leaves 10 Dead
Ten people were dead and at least 14 others wounded, after a heavily armed 15 year-old student opened fire at a high school, while waving and smiling at his potential victims. Before the shootings at the High School , the suspect's grandparents were shot in their home and died later. Five students were killed at the school, along with a teacher and a security guard. The suspect apparently killed himself after exchanging gunfire with police. A student in a nearby classroom, said he heard the gunman say something to his friend: "He asked his friend, if he believed in God," And then he shot and killed his friend." (2005)
CUMBERLAND CITY, Tenn.
A woman bus driver was about halfway through her morning school bus route, when she stopped to pick up a 14-year-old student. But instead of getting on the bus, the boy fatally shot the bus driver with a .45-caliber handgun. It was an act apparently prompted by an argument over the boy's usage of smokeless tobacco.(2005)

Pregnant Girl Charged in Boyfriend's Death
Police have charged a pregnant 16-year-old girl in the stabbing death of the 19-year-old father of her unborn child. Police said they were called to an apartment in the South Boston neighborhood about 2:45 a.m. Sunday, where they found her boyfriend was wounded in the chest. He was taken to Boston Medical Center , where he later died about 90 minutes later. The girl, who is three weeks from her due date, was arrested and charged with the killing. She was due to be arraigned in South Boston District Court. (2005)
TUSCALOOSA, Ala.
A lawsuit claims the video game "Grand Theft Auto " led a teenager to shoot two police officers and a dispatcher to death in 2003, mirroring violent acts depicted in the popular game. The teenager, who is charged with murder, had played the video game repeatedly. He is accused of killing the three men in June 2003, after being brought to the police station on suspicion of driving a stolen car. The teenager allegedly grabbed one of the officer's guns, shot him and the other two, then fled in a patrol car.

BOULDER, Colo. Daughter Charged in Alleged Assisted Suicide
A 14-year-old girl who claimed she shot her father to death to help him commit suicide has been charged with second-degree murder.
The girl was charged as a juvenile. The prosecutor asked a judge to designate the girl an aggravated juvenile offender, which would limit sentencing options if she is convicted.
She was arrested on March 13, shortly after deputies responded to what they thought was a prank 911 call giving her address. Investigators found the girl's father, dead at the scene. Investigators said the girl was unemotional when they arrived and she told them her father had taken his own life. She later acknowledged shooting her father, but only after finding him in pain after he had tried to shoot himself to death. Authorities did not say at the time, whether they believed her story. The Sheriff' said only that he found it troubling that "by her own admission, she decided to end somebody's life instead of calling for help." (2005)

Teen Charged With Killing Parents in N.C.
The decomposed bodies of a Chapel Hill couple might have been in their home as long as two weeks after they were shot in the head, a medical examiner said Sunday.
Their 16-year-old son, is charged with killing the couple. The father, 52, was shot three times in the head. The mother, 49, was shot once in the head and once in the shoulder. The couple had no other injuries and were shot by a .410-gauge shotgun at a range of 2 to 5 feet.
The teen was charged as an adult with two counts of first-degree murder. He confessed to the killings. (2005)
LANCASTER, Calif.
A 13-year-old California boy has been convicted of beating another boy to death with a baseball bat after his team lost their first game of the season.
A Los Angeles County Superior Court judge found the teen guilty of second-degree murder in Lancaster Juvenile Court. The boy was accused of hitting 15-year-old in the knee and the head after an April 12th youth league game in Palmdale. The convicted teen could get probation or be placed in state custody until he's 25. (2005)
BOISE, Idaho
A 10-year-old boy who died after hanging himself from a tree is apparently the second Idaho youth killed while playing a choking game. The County sheriff's office said the boy apparently was playing a game known as the "pass-out game," trying to cut off the oxygen supply to his brain to achieve a type of "high."
The boy's mother reported him missing when he failed to return home after visiting a friend. Search and rescue crews found his body hanging from a tree near his Island Park home. "The boy was found with the rope looped around his neck," the sheriff's office said. "There was no sign of a struggle, nor was there any physical evidence to indicate anyone else had been at the scene."
The statement added, "During the course of the investigation it was learned that there is a game that is common knowledge to many of our youth. A game known as the 'pass-out game,' the 'fainting game,' the 'tingling game,' or the 'something dreaming game' - to name a few," the release said. (2005)

A 12-year-old boy stabbed his sister in the arm in an argument over a chicken pot pie. The boy was charged as a juvenile; with assault and intent to do great bodily harm less than murder and assault with a dangerous weapon. (2005)
McCOMB, Miss.
Authorities say a disagreement over a frozen snack led a McComb teenager to fatally shoot his father and threaten his mother. The16 year old boy was arrested and charged with murder after allegedly shooting his father with a shotgun from about 20 feet away.
An Investigator said the shooting occurred after the teen was punished for being involved in a minor wreck. The boy became enraged when his parents returned home eating Sno-cones and there wasn't one for him. The teen then allegedly threatened his mother with the gun before speeding away in the family's car and leading authorities on a one-hour high-speed chase through three counties, at speeds of up to 115 mph. Police set up stop sticks to deflate his tires and he was taken into custody. The teenager is being charged as an adult and is also charged with felony pursuit, and is now in jail. (2005)
PADUCAH, Ky.
The youngest Kentucky child to be charged with murder in decades likely will receive counseling and therapy in a setting away from a state juvenile jail, experts say. The 7-year-old boy is charged with killing his mother's boyfriend on June 27. Under state law, he is too young to be tried as an adult or sentenced to a juvenile facility but could be placed in specialized foster care or a private psychiatric hospital.
There is a long-standing case law in Kentucky that a 7-year-old doesn't have the mental capacity to form intent. The boy's case will hinge on whether he had the mental capacity to know the difference between right and wrong and whether he is competent to make decisions about his case, experts say. The 7-year-old is the youngest Kentucky child in at least 35 years to be charged with murder, state officials and juvenile-justice experts say. Police declined to release a motive for the fatal stabbing of his mother's live- in boyfriend. Police allege that the boy stabbed the man while he slept and that the boy's 4-year-old brother was watching. (2005)

MORRISTOWN, N.J.
Three teenage boys were caught trying to dump a steamer trunk containing the dismembered body of a 16-year-old girl into a river.
A 16 year old was invited to go to a 18 year old neighbor's house to watch late-night TV, but the boy became very angry and began punching the girl and then stabbing her in the basement of his house.
The boy used a long knife to dismember the body, then stashed it in the trunk for a day, in his father's Jeep. The boy and his 14 year old brother and a 16 year old were approached by a police officer early in the morning, being suspicious about their car being parked on a bridge over the Passaic River. Authorities said the boys planned to throw the trunk into the river.
The juveniles, , were charged with unlawful disposal of human remains and tampering with evidence. The 18 year old also was charged with employing juveniles in the commission of a crime. The 18 year old pleaded not guilty to murder, weapons offenses and hindering apprehension. He is being held on $1 million bail.

SOUTHPORT, N.C.
Two teenagers who had survived nearly a week at sea, clinging to a 14-foot Sunfish, prayed to go peacefully in the hours before they were discovered.
"I asked God to take me," 15-year-old Troy Driscoll told The (Charleston, S.C.) Post and Courier on Saturday night as he lay in the emergency room of Dosher Memorial Hospital. "You're out there fighting for your life. We didn't want to fight anymore."
Driscoll and 18-year-old Josh Long were spotted by fishermen aboard the Renegade about 4:30 p.m. Saturday. The boys were about seven miles off Cape Fear - six days and more than 100 miles from where they had put in off Sullivans Island , S.C., on April 24.
The boys were sunburned, dehydrated, exhausted and beat up by their six days at sea on the small sailboat, but Coast Guard and other officials said they were in pretty good shape considering what they had been through.
"We were praying for a miracle and we got one," Charleston Coast Guard Cmdr. June Ryan said. "Everybody on the East Coast has been looking for these boys."

Florida authorities say a two-year-old girl, spent the night with the bodies of her mother and three brothers ( including a three week old baby), until an apartment complex worker heard knocking inside the apartment and discovered the slayings. The two year old girl was left unharmed
NEW SMYRNA BEACH, Fla.
A 5-year-old girl called 911, after waking to gunshots and finding her dead mother and dying father in bed. A gunman seeking revenge (that was not a valid reason) for drug charges, snuck into the family's Florida home and opened fire; he then killed himself in his home later that day.
The child, described the traumatic scene to the operator: "My mommy and daddy … I think there is a bullet on the floor... and there is blood coming out of my daddy''s mouth, and he fell off the bed." The girl's daddy, 29, died at a Medical Center, and her mommy, 31, was dead at the scene. (2005)
