Joy in Salvation!
Lord Jesus, my heart is so heavy
My load, no one else can bear
In wanting to do all for You
To start? ~ not knowing where
I feel so insignificant--the world is vast and huge
I feel so inadequate ~ in what I can do for You
From the highest point I can find, I want to SHOUT
Jesus is Lord, His word is divine!
I want to forever run, spreading the good news
That Christ has died for your sins, too
His suffering was not in vain to me
Salvation is ~ what has set me free
So, open your heart and open your mind
In just a short time, you will find
The Holy Father has sent to you
His Son ~ to set the world anew
By the love He placed, in me and you
I feel so sad and ill equipped
Please guide me, Lord, I'm afraid I'll slip
Past a chance to share Your love this day
With someone who needs to hear Your message ~ and PRAY
Come into my heart, Lord
I surrender to you, the burdens I carry
I'm a sinner Lord, I will not tarry
To make You my Savior and Lord of all
Guiding my life, whatever befalls
Can you accept His mercy and grace?
Can you forever your burdens place ~
upon the cross that He did bear?
At Calvary's Hill ~ He showed He cared
The Father's love can never be usurped
He gave His Son to save the earth
Of the blackest of sin, that ravaged it so
Our true Redeemer, His grace every flows
Let go of all that binds your life
Give up oppression, sorrow and strife
Loosen the anxiety that rules your mind
Let Jesus in and you will find
Peace, Love, and so much more
Your life will then be transformed
To what the Father intended it to be
A life spent with Him ~ for Him to complete
Nothing is so small ~ Can't you see
The bring before the King of Kings
God's waiting for you to make your choice
To live in CHRIST and to REJOICE!
Let Heaven announce ~ ANOTHER SOUL IS OURS!
Jesus Christ, Lord, Savior, our strength and power
Reigns forever by God's side
Our eternity through death ~ He did buy!

Patience
I look to the Lord
and take His hand
Though I will never understand
All that this life
may bring my way
He leads me through
those times of fray
My many tears
will fall and wet
The unborn seeds,
I have yet to set
In someone's heart,
for them to know
It takes God
to make all things grow
So, I take on life,
assured of this
God, only God,
will fulfill my bliss
The patience He plants,
in me each day
Is what is needed,
to pave my way

Following Jesus
Oh Lord, the importance of following You!
Submitting and walking in Your ways each day
Is bringing You closer to others
Through the actions of what I do and say
My Hands to reach out and to give support
Where hope is but a glimmer, growing cold
My Tongue to speak whispers of comfort
That turn mere words from brass to gold
My Feet to take me, wherever Your will
Perhaps, a new ventured path
Jesus, the exsistence of my passion, still
Focused on Your eternal things that last
Lord, may Your Love speak through my Actions
May my Actions take wing in the hearts
Of those who need to know who You are
Work through me! Give life a new Spark!
May the Spark turn into a Fire burning
Within the Soul that is longing for Hope
May the Fire engulf, in the Learning
It is You, that brings new life to Cope.
And in the Learning, blessed Victory
Someone's Repenting! Turning back to You
All because of Your wonderful mystery
I, being the bearer of Your Love, so True
Thank you, Heavenly Father
It is to serve You, that I live
Thank you, Precious Redeemer

Jesus
Oh, what a wondrous Name, above all
That God has sent to me
To rest my soul upon His righteousness
To set my spirit free!
Tis the Name of one, held so dear
Who sacrificed it all
To give to me, eternal life, no fear
A Child of God; I am now called
Oh, praise the Blessed Name of Jesus
Held sweetly--it dwells in my soul
He is the one, crucified to free us
From sin, where certain death did flow
My prayers do rise to the heavens
On His interceding, tender care
God gives me what He deems best
For this present life, which I bear
Oh, glorious Name, precious Name
Sin's atonement--Godsend from above
Jesus Christ, my Lord and Savior
To Thee--All my reverence and love!
We have seen and testify that the Father has sent
the Son, to be the Savior of the world. (1John 4:14)

Humbleness
I pray that the humbleness, I seek to attain
Will be the kind, that forever remains
Taking strong root, deep within me
Bringing me, Lord, ever closer to Thee
Teach me the value of a patient heart
Making it a gentle, obedient start
To remind me of Your endless ways
That I can walk in and live my days
Teach me the ways of Your gentleness
Keeping my words from causing duress
Showing consideration, to each soul I meet
I pray, Lord, keep my words kindly sweet
Teach me to walk in the spirit of peace
Exalting You and others, myself as least
Delighting in You and Your righteousness
Lord, may these things be, what You deem best
Teach me to take this faith You have planted
Making it flourish, Your will to be granted
To bolster another, who is in need of hope
Bring me through times of despair, to cope
Humbling me, to seek You, all the more
To get through each day, knees on the floor
Issuing Your grace, making me grow
So, in relating to others, Your mercy flows
Thus bringing, an understanding of who You are
In living my life, which You have given by far
The richness of wisdom and deeds, so true
By walking in them, endless grace comes from You
Do nothing out of selfishness or empty conceit, but with
humility of mind, regard one another as more important
than yourselves. (Phil 2:3)

I praise His ever presence

My Strength In Jesus
My Lord is my strength in all that I do
He helps me to keep, my light shining through
In the darkest of times, in the pits of despair
I know that His loving arms are there
To reach out and enfold me
With His comfort and care
My Lord, He surrounds me, with kind understanding
He keeps me from turning to myself for the answers
His words of truth, they hold the key
To His loving Father's victory
In His gift of salvation and sanctification
His unending love, is my security
With my life, He calls me to serve unto Him
I treasure His words and hide them within
I'm praying to Him to reach into my life
With the love that He promised would conquer my strife
My tears flow freely, as His presence is known
Our spirits are joined, mercy touches my soul
Grace fills the air around me
He has done it all, so lovingly
My Heavenly Father, Oh Holy One
Jesus, my Savior, Your only begotten Son
Hung on the rugged cross of Calvary
Through His blood and death--liberated me
From the bonds of earthly slavery
My sins, washed clean, from my unworthy soul
In Christ I am one--His mystery unfolds

Salvation
Oh Lord, what beauty, salvation
Forgiveness through mercy and grace
How simple, yet, so hard for some
To surrender, trust and obey
"Truly I say unto you, unless you are converted and
become like children, you will not enter the kingdom
of heaven." (Matthew 18:3)

Faith
Faith is a trust that dwells within
A true assurance of peace
For God sent to us His precious Son
In whom, we must accept and believe
For to please God, faith unfailing
Must rule our hearts and souls
He is a rewarder of those who seek Him
Who walk down that narrow road
Faith is a hope that is longed for
Trusting in God's will and ways
To draw us ever closer to Him
With reverence, worship and praise
So keep your faith, in Jesus
Do not wave to and fro
Establish yourself upon His teaching
His word to study and know
For a life lived in Him daily
Should never go astray
With prayer and humble thanksgiving
Before Him our burdens, we lay
Thank you, God, for Your mercy
For the peace and faith in our life
Daily, we seek Your guidance
Through our loving Savior, Jesus Christ
For by grace you have been saved, through faith,
and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God. (Eph 2:8).
