The Conquering Messiah

The stable was bathed in soft moonlight as the world, for a few hushing moments of silence stood upon the dawning of a new time. Then the baby's first cry shattered Time and changed the course of mankind. He came for a purpose. He lived each day with love in His heart. He came from heaven to earth for one reason alone.

Knowing His destiny Jesus allowed His Father's plan to mold each precious day that He lived on this Earth. He taught truth because He is the Truth. He showed others the one and only escape from a sin-laden world, because He is the Only Way. He taught His followers deep mysteries and gave them hope of a New World and a life never-ending ~ a paradise. He walked in love for all men great and small and was led by the Spirit of the Living God. Jesus always bowed to His Father's wishes and walked in humility. He taught with authority. During His ministry He daily healed the sick, cast out demons, opened blind eyes and caused the lame to walk. This one Man left footprints in the sand that have endured down through the ages and the ravages of Time.

Jesus is the Creator, the Almighty God. He was born of a virgin. His Father sent him for the express purpose of becoming man´s only means of salvation and ultimately the Messiah who will rule throughout eternity!

Jesus began His ministry at the age of thirty, but at age 33, the day appointed came. Those who loved Him betrayed Him. He was brutally beaten, slapped, kicked and spat upon by those whose eyes were spiritually blind. He uttered no defense, as they interrogated Him and accused him of wrongs that He hadn't committed. He carried the cross that each of us should have carried. He suffered pain and agony beyond our mind´s ability to comprehend.

Each precious drop of blood flowed from His veins and spilled upon the ground. As His life´s blood drained from His pain-wracked body, He interceded for mankind and begged His Father to forgive those who sought His life. As the Father took the sins of all time (past, present, future) and placed them on His Son, He was more alone than anyone has ever been. As He hung there on the Old Rugged Cross bleeding and dying in our stead, the spotless Lamb of God paid the penalty for each and every one of those sins. Finally, He drew His last breath, hung His head and died the death of man.

His followers were confused, heartbroken, and devastated. Their master was gone, buried in a tomb! But unlike the other gods of then and now, He arose from the grave! ‘He Lives´ was the heart cry of those who loved Him; the fear of those who had rejected Him.

Satan and all the demons and devils of Hell were defeated! Jesus, the Son of God, had rose victorious in Resurrection Power! He had conquered sin, the flesh and the devil, and with that He made the way of salvation for the whole world. At last reconciliation was possible between man and God, for the Empty Tomb said it all!

After His brief stay here on earth, Jesus ascended into Heaven and even now sits at the right hand of His Father. He now waits the day when His Father looks over at Him and says, “Go, My Son, and bring our children home!’ Millions wait for that day when He will come to redeem all those who have called upon His name and accepted Him as their Lord and Savior!

His love and promises have never and will never fail. He is still the Way, the Truth and the Life. He still mends broken hearts and heals the sick. He is the Only Way for your soul's salvation, but the choice rests on your shoulders. Look to the Cross- on which Jesus bled and died for YOU and examine the Truth of His Resurrection!
